It says it blocks trackers, ads, cookies...etc but it doesn't list any type that is actually blocked. I want to see what's blocked. It doesn't have an element blocker setting either. I'm removing it.

Please revert me to the previous version. We no longer have the option to choose what to blacklist or whitelist on each site. I can't find ANYTHING that is clickable other than removing this extension and finding something else. The previous version was top notch. This one is garbage.

This new UI is horrible. Earlier I can choose what to block and what to unblock, but from time is all or nothing. I don't even see what is blocking and how many... Great addon once but now I'm not sure.

It seems that the extension is blocking recaptcha.net which is used on some sites, to prevent automation. When filling forms, this can cause the form submission to fail. There's no way to whitelist the URL, only to whitelist independent sites

Disconnect blocks Disqus, which powers the comment sections on the majority of web sites, and the new version has no provision to block or unblock specific trackers. In order to use Disqus, Disconnect must be totally disabled. What was once an indispensable add-on is now utterly useless. And for the geniuses complaining that Disconnect doesn't block ads, it isn't an ad blocker. It blocks trackers.

After the update this extension is now useless...

Please, revert to the old U.I. as this seems like its useless now. turning it off changes nothing, i can no longer select what i wanna allow/disallow. I could go on, but i wont. Just revert this apps u.i. back to how it used to be, or give control back to the people who had this for several years! *i do NOT like this new update/U.I.!*

I don't know if this new update made the extension useless like some are claiming, but it sure did mess up the UI completely. No way to see any details on what the extension is actually blocking or doing. No way to disable the number on the icon that displays active blocks. I hate visual clutter pointlessly drawing attention to useless information. I don't need to know how many things are being blocked at any second. I use these blockers to minimize distractions, not to introduce new ones.

On some sites Disconnect will not appear after clicking the icon. And with the lengthy delay in any updates, I am starting to feel like I'm being played.

Just download the extension, and I'm amazed at all the stuff these websites are throwing at my PC. I have an adblock but this extension kills so much more. When I jump on my PC in the morning, I always scroll through Yahoo.com articles to see what's happening in the world. Doing that today, Adblock Plus killed killed 16 items and Disconnect killed over 600. Of that 38 were analytics request and 620 was content blocking from a site called Brightcove (https://www.brightcove.com/en/).

Unfortunately, Disconnect hasn't been updated in 3 years, and now breaks other extensions using globalPrivacyControl.

Makes websites like ebay unusable (breaks layout).

This is a well crafted extension. It was no doubt given a great deal of thought and attention to detail during the planning phase and it was engineered and coded by professionals, or by a professional, one or the other. This is definitely one of the better Chrome extensions that I've used, and I have used a number of them, and I've even made a couple myself. Most extensions do not reach this level however, this is a good one and I highly recommend it.

Wow! I can't believe how poorly Disconnect works, it didn't block most ads and banner garbage on Yahoo finance. Can't block manually either. No filters to add. Ublock Origin is the best. This extension should be banned. What a fraud!
